Training & Equipping

Our goal with training and equipping volunteers is to prepare them for the field—mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually and practically.

From chainsaw maintenance, usage, safety and how it relates to disaster response to heavy equipment operation and maintenance to Bible study and discipleship, we invest in training men and women to serve with excellence in whatever their calling is. Our goal is to raise up teams that are both skilled in their craft and grounded in Faith.

Some of the future trainings being discussed:

• CPR & First Aid

• Tourniquet Application

• Strength & Conditioning

• Small Equipment Use

• Heavy Equipment Use

• Land Navigation & SAR (Search and Rescue)

We believe that these trainings will greatly benefit, not only volunteers for Lighthouse Ministries, but for anyone who decides to step out in service of others when disaster strikes.

The absolute most powerful thing you could do for us is to Pray. Pray for guidance, wisdom, and protection. Pray that God’s Grace falls over our every move. Pray that this ministry never moves on the thoughts or wishes of man, but that every move we make is Divine and ordained straight from God. Pray that pride takes a backseat in everything we do as humility drives us forward. And of course, Pray it all in the Mighty name of the King, Jesus Christ. Amen.
